Tammy downloaded these songs for me. They were some of Connie's and my favorites. They were played at her memorial services. Hope you alll enjoy them and think of Connie while you listen to them and visit this site which was put together and paid for by Tammy too. Thank you so much Tammy.

These songs were all some of Connie's and my favorites. They were all played at her memorial service. The Lord's Prayer, Crying In The Chapel, Amazing Grace, Lady, and Unchained melody were played before and after the services. Hope you like them.

What i remember about grandma was every time I needed someone to talk to she was always there for me. But one thing i do miss about her was her cooking on thanksgiving. I just wish she was still here with her family and friends who love her very much. Grandma I really do miss you alot and will always love you for ever and ever. So one day i hope to see you again. You will never be forgotten. You will always be on my mind and in my heart.

                                             Love Always Your Granddaughter,

                                                          Courtney

The thing I most remember about Mom from early child hood was the diciplinarian in her.  She washed my mouth out with a bar of dial soup enough times that I must have eaten a whole bar throughout the years.  She was always so tall (to me at the time).  I don't remember ever doing any chores except cleaning my room until Mom went into her wheel chair when I was 9.  I remember once when I was 7 I had forgotten to feed the dog (Snoopy our pit bull mix) and Dad got onto me.   Mom had just had to alter my favorite PJs by cutting the feet out of them so I could still wear them.  I threw a a fit that Mom cut the feet out of them so she went out and fed the dog instead.  I also remember when I was 9 she let me borrow a spare wheel chair when I got real sick and couldn't walk.  I remember her and Aunt Judy talking about how they thought I was faking and were both very sorry when I was admitted to the hosptial with rhuematic fever.

So many memories good, bad, sweet and sad.  I'm just sorry that I won't have a chance to build more memories with her in this life.  I love you mama...

Although I really didn't know you, what i did know of you i loved. Aunt Connie you were an amazing woman, thank you for loving Uncle BL the way you did, The last time i remember seeing you i was almost six years old and it was for a short time. The very first time i met you i was four and i didn't know much at the time, I wondered how such a nice person could disserve having to be in a wheel chair. But you embraced it you never changed who you were. Now i am 15 and i know more but i also look forward to seeing you once again in the golden gates of heaven.

     Love always,

          Alyssa (Your niece)

I remember your visit to our farm in Indiana. You were able to roll your whole wheel chair into my basement shower, how you loved being able to delight in a lenghthy shower. You also loved fishing on the lake, just one of our most memorible and beautiful visits together. I loved each moment we got to spend together, I love you forever and I'm always looking forward to seeing your georgous face in the presence of our Loving Lord, Jesus Christ.

Love, Hugs, and Kisses to you and your family.

            Love,

              Wanda (Your sister in- law)

Some of our best memories were when we went on vacations. They were always trips to visit my sisters, Nona and Wanda but they were always very special to both of us. We seemed to be much closer at those times. One year we traveled to Nona's at Joplin, Mo. then to Wanda's at Cincinnati then back west to Pueblo, Colorado to visit Connie's grandmother, and finally to Dexter, New Mexico to visit my grandmother. It was quite a whirlwind trip, a lot of driving but good times. The photo is taken at Wanda's around 1998. Another unique trip was when we went to see Amanda and Courtney in New York. They had moved there about five months before and we both missed them terribly, so we drove up there in Oct. of 2000. It was to be our last vacation together as Connie's health got much worse after that. Well anyway we stopped along the way at Nona's and Wanda's then to Mandy's. After that we went to my sister Donna's in Mass. for a short visit. On the way back home we encountered their season's first snowfall and enjoyed seeing the magnificent beauty of the fall colors of the  leaves. We also wound up bringing Amanda and Courtney back home with us. That's another story. It was a really great trip that we both enjoyed so much together and we both cherished it and reminised about it many times.

I will always remember the holidays.

Connie loved all of the family and always had a lot of fun cooking and baking for everyone.

I loved it when she and I would go through the Christmas decorations, Connie loved telling which of her children made which decoration, the stories were so great.

Connie would also love to show all the photos of her family, Connie would tell a story about every photo, I felt like I knew all of Connie's family before I even met

everyone.

The holidays will not be the same and I will miss Connie's wonderful stories.

I remember how momma was always there when I needed her the most. She got me through alot of dark times and now I can't even call her! She loved us no matter what and I love her.
